BEATENBERG COMPOSER, MATTHEW FIELD, RENEWS MAJOR INTERNATIONAL PUBLISHING DEAL WITH SONY/ATV

Matthew Field of Beatenbergthis week renewed his publishing agreement with Sony/ATV Music Publishing on the eve of the band releasing their sophomore album, 12 Views of Beatenberg.

Sony/ATV Music Publishing when Field first signed with 2014 The deal builds on a relationship that began in Field is the lead singer and main composer of the seven-time SAMA award-winning bandBeatenberg, which rose to fame with their debut album, The Hanging Gardens of Beatenberg. They shot up the charts with songs like Pluto,Rafael and groundbreaking collaborations with Grammy award winning band Mumford & Sons andDJ Clock.

Field’s musicianship is undeniable. During the course of his studies, he received a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. Having an interest in both jazz and classical music, he always returned to the form of the popular song. His lyrical and melodic gifts have left a unique imprint on our landscape whilst breaking boundaries.

The 12 Views of Beatenberg is the band’s introductory release on the back of their recording deal with Island Records UK and will be available on all digital platforms on Friday 14 December 2018
